Hello. I have been creating a site map using the xml-sitemap site for years. I receive these 5 files automatically: Sitemap.xml, Sitemap.xml.gz, Ror.xml, Sitemap.html, and Urllist.txt, which I then upload to the root directory via FTP. Are these files, other than sitemap.xml, necessary today? Should I continue using them without any harm? It would be helpful to get advice from friends who provide tips on creating a better sitemap for guidance.
