Which is better: a custom PHP website or WordPress?

I've shortened the title; BIG QUESTION=PHP or Wordpress! Should we code it ourselves or use Wordpress? Good Fridays... I guess the title is clear... I can clarify the topic as follows: 1) Can we say that our self-coded site is more secure because those who want to harm the site know WordPress vulnerabilities very well? 2) Is it possible that WordPress falls short if we assume it will be a comprehensive blog (like medium.com)? 3) Can we say that our self-coded site is more flexible and easily scalable? 4) Can we say that no matter what we do, we cannot create a better SEO ARCHITECTURE than WordPress? 5) If we want to create content in Turkish and English, does WordPress offer any convenience? 6) Would you agree that it is better to CREATE A CLEAN ARCHITECTURE WITH PHP instead of dealing with editing WordPress, struggling with plugins when necessary?
