How can I download an image using a link? (preferably with PHP or Laravel)

I want to download an image from a link that contains the image and save it to a specified folder. For example, if we have this link https://c7.alamy.com/compes/dwxf17/...guerra-mundial-en-un-estilo-grunge-dwxf17.jpg, then I would like to download the image from that link and save it to the folder of my choosing. Preferably using PHP or Laravel.
